Hi all.
Machine LSI 48A (Ariston). When starting, it drains and fills with water, but the recirculation pump does not start, it hums. I took off the side walls and took a look. The winding (as far as I could see) is intact, there is no stink. Could the reason for the non-start be in something other than the motor itself, for example in the capacitor? How to check it (conder)?
Thanks in advance.

Today I removed the pump. You twist it in one direction, it spins without any problems, you start twisting it in the other direction, it sticks a little, then it seems to spin, when you try to rotate it in the opposite direction, it sticks a little again, and then it’s fine.... I tried to remove the snail, but I couldn’t (I don’t have it at hand). turned out to be a large screwdriver). Rust on the pulley at the junction with the snail. Tomorrow I’ll spray it with WD and try to remove it and have a look. It’s most likely a bearing issue. Is it really possible to change it or just the whole pump?

If there is rust at the connection point, it means the oil seal has leaked. Water has entered the engine and now the rotor is sticking to the stator. On Aristons it does not change separately. It is possible to replace the snail separately. Something like this, only on a Bosch pump proremservice*ru/remont-posudomoechnoj-mashiny-bosch-remkomplekt-tsirkulyatsionnogo-nasosa

I mean, it ate the pulley?!)))) how is that, and because of this, change the machine?!
The pump is completely repairable, it’s not difficult for me to repair everything, the bearings are SKF BB1-0608, but the original is difficult to find, it’s easier to install nsk 608 and not worry, the motor is on rivets, you need to drill them, then assemble it with screws... The volute, don’t disassemble it, (attention, the screw on the volute rotor has a reverse thread) a new volute or if the old one is not leaking yet, inside, where the oil seal is better filled with hydra2 lubricant, it will work longer!
