Bosch s2r1b does not drain
Hello, forum members!
Before knocking on this forum, I studied the issue of eliminating this malfunction, watched a video analyzing the problem in other dishwashers from Bosch, and then went to fix the problem in my dishwasher car. According to the Internet, in order for the machine to drain water, you need to unlock the pump. However, when I reached inside the machine, I did not see any hex bolts, as well as the protective valves that can be removed from other Bosch dishwashers in videos from YouTube with a slight movement of the hand.
How to unlock the pump in s2r1b?

Re: Bosch s2r1b does not drain
I have the same machine, today I spent half a day tinkering, I’m glad to share my experience.
If you stretch your finger into the left hole, you will come across a bulge with blades on the edges - this is the pump impeller. You can try to twist them, you will see if there is a broken blade that is blocking the pump.
Next there are four screws at the back, on the sides (also covered with plastic caps), and at the front with the cover open, unscrew them too - remove the casing. On the right under the dishwasher chamber there will be the pump itself. On the left you will see a white circle of polystyrene foam that protects against water spillage. Turn on the machine, press it - it drains automatically. Remove the cover on the control panel (the latch is on top, pressed out with a flat-head screwdriver). After this, you can easily turn the machine upside down - a minimum of water will spill.
Open the lid - there is such a bottom cover, two bolts, visible when the lid is open, Remove the back wall, and the bottom - there is no longer a Phillips cross, but a 20-point torque, you need a cue ball screwdriver. They unscrew without problems, nothing falls off.
Enjoy the spectacle of your engine. And a capacitor for it. If the engine heats up but does not work, the condenser is most likely faulty. Although a breakdown of the windings of the engine itself cannot be ruled out.
In any case, the pump impeller turned out to be intact, and installing the condenser at 3 uF 450V started the engine. The only thing that causes concern is that the machine is working, but the water has begun to heat up more strongly - the black sealant, bitumen or whatever is smeared there is already blistering, with a corresponding smell. Although the engine may be damaged and not working at full capacity. Dilemma. Maybe someone knows if this model has a temperature sensor or if it simply heats the water according to a program, and if the water flows slower, it will eventually overheat?

Where is the capacitor itself? I unscrew and see:AlexPiter: You remove the back wall, and the bottom - there is no longer a Phillips cross, but a 20-point torque, you need a cue ball screwdriver. They unscrew without problems, nothing falls off.

Not at all. The photo shows the dishwasher from the bottom, not the back.

Re: Bosch s2r1b does not drain
only the bottom is shown from the edge.. It was said to turn it upside down with daisies, and REMOVE the bottom completely. Then you would easily seeSent after 2 minutes 42 seconds:
capacitor where the engine is, with the other side of the heater which is visible in your photo

I see everything, thank you. It turns out that it’s in my photo too.
I hope that you photographed this a long time ago and now your car is working.

Alas, in my case this capacitor has almost ideal parameters:

Thank you, yes, I took it apart on February 23, and on the same day I went for a Conder - I bought an analogue, in the end it worked, but it was a little strange, the heating became more noticeable. However, this led to the fact that even in the second program it began to wash better than in the first - for now I’ll see, it’s been a month - the flight is normal.
In your case, apparently the engine? Does the impeller rotate? Can you turn it a full turn with your finger?

I’m sorting it out, since there’s nothing to lose.
I climbed inside. In my case, the pump impeller does not rotate at all.

Dear AlexPiter! Do you still have photographs of the dishwasher, especially ones that show the side with its automation?

I photographed it and posted the photo to you only at the time of analysis, but what are you interested in? maybe I can help?

Maybe you remember which wires were connected where to the twister that sets the time? There are only five of them, but there are six terminals on the twist. The probability of connecting correctly is zero. Googling, including YouTube, did not give any analysis of this machine from the required image(

Re: Bosch s2r1b does not drain
Greetings! I’ve been digging on the Internet for two days, and only here I found more or less intelligible information. In general, I’m on the verge of purchasing such a unit from my own hands in a faulty state. In general, the owner claims that everything worked fine, they replaced it due to the purchase of a built-in one. They put it up for sale (it’s been hanging for about a year) when checking, it refused to drain the water. The cycle starts. Now I want to inquire about the structure of this unit. I had no experience with PMM before this, but I’m versed in technology.
question one. how many pumps does it have? two, like in a full-size one, or one and valves?
and the second question is how repairable this equipment is (is it disassembled, are individual parts sold)
I will be glad for any information!

If you are still interested, write, I will help with photos and advice, I have repaired my PM 4 times in 8 years.
I don’t have time to post all the information somewhere. Write to Bereg1@ukr.net
