The fact is that it suddenly stopped draining water. The beginning of the cycle is normal, water is drawn in, the dishes are rinsed, but when it comes to draining, there is silence and a burning faucet on the front panel.
It was clear that the drain pump was not working. This could be either because of the pump itself, or because of a blockage along the water path.
The first thing I wanted to do was look at the pump impeller (to get to it, I needed a hex screwdriver; in the very center you need to remove all the filters and unscrew the white plug) - the blades rotate, however, some kind of elasticity is felt every half turn (I still don’t understand whether this should be so or not?), but there was no debris between the blades.
Next I removed the side panel and checked the drain hose and blew it out. No, there was no blockage either.
I drained all the remaining water from the dishwasher through the tube to which the drain hose is connected.
Just in case, I poured a bottle of Sanox pipe cleaner into the machine. So that it dissolves any sticky nastiness there if it gets in the way. Then I drained it again.
(By the way, I carried out the entire dishwashing cycle in this way. Every time the faucet came on, I opened the door, drained the water through the tube, then closed it, while the faucet went out and the machine continued to work. )
In the end, I drained all the water, tilting the dishwasher on its side, then took a vacuum cleaner, and at the highest power, vacuumed the impeller, all possible holes, as well as all the drain pipes and hoses that I could disconnect.
Oh, miracle! After this shamanism, the drain pump started working!
