Where does the salt go? As soon as I add it, after 5 minutes from the start of the cycle the indicator turns on - there is no salt

I have a similar problem. The salt disappears in a few minutes. The Bosch car was purchased in 2009. Corrosion? Hardly... The salt tank is plastic.

For a 2009 machine, the ion exchanger may have failed. If we are talking about turning on the dishwasher for the first time in the first comment, then most likely you just need to wait, the dishwasher does not immediately react to the fact that salt has been poured into it, if, nevertheless, the indicator continues to light after several cycles, try adding more salt.
