error E31 ⇐ Bosch
Re: error E31
I eliminated this error in 15 minutes, you need to remove the lid from the inside with a crossed out hand and use a hairdryer for about 10 minutes to sell the container with zeolite. For some reason, water gets into the zeolite and the PMM electronics do not turn on the water heating after that. Recommendations for turning off the power to reset did not help me... but with a hairdryer everything is quick, the question is how long will it last?
Re: error E31
Damn T9, in general, E31 comes out due to liquid in a container with zeolite, because of this, the electronics block the heating of water and drying of dishes, to eliminate it, you need to ventilate the container with zeolite with a hairdryer, this is the one that is under the lid with a crossed out hand on the far right side. It is difficult to unscrew. I warmed it up with hot air for about 10 minutes, and liquid came out of the right air duct. After the procedure, the error disappeared - the water warmed up and the dishes dried.
Re: error E31
we tried to dry it with a hairdryer, as written above, but it didn’t work

Re: error E31
Good evening! Please tell me, did you correct the error? What kind of error is this and is it possible to fix it on my own? The option suggested above did not help! Thanks for the answer!

Re: error E31
It’s simple. You need to hold down the miracle reset button on the control panel for a long time. Only a man would think of it!
Re: error E31
My error e 09 is displayed at the end, that is, if it washes all the dishes, it will rinse, but not dry?

Re: error E31
Have you had this problem again?
I had the same problem with my NEFF dishwasher. I’m not a master, but for myself I made the following conclusions about the possible reasons for water getting into the zeolite drying unit through the "lid with a crossed hand":
1. Using cheap, high-foaming detergents. Foam simply gets in there during the washing process.
2. Perhaps the circulation pump is gradually breaking down. Try a simple test without disassembling the dishwasher. You need to remove the filter inside the tank (the same one that you sometimes clean). In the lower plastic part of the tank, in which the cylindrical part of the filter was located, you can see the inlet grille (hole) of the circulation pump on the side. This hole is covered with a plastic cover, which must be carefully removed with pliers (do not break it!). Under the cover in the hole is the impeller of the circulation pump. This is exactly what you need to try to shake with your hand perpendicular to the flow of water (perpendicular to the shaft) in different directions. If it wobbles (plays), the pump needs to be replaced. The price of the pump is somewhere from 7 thousand and above.
The fact is (again, as I understand it), in modern BOSH/SIEMENS/NEFF dishwashers there may be no pressure switch, and the amount of water in tank is determined by the circulation pump control electronics. That is, by rotating the impeller and feeling the resistance to rotation, the pump seems to “grope” for the presence and amount of water in the tank. When the impeller is partially or completely blocked (for example, when graphite bearings become loose), the electronics do not understand what is happening. I don’t know how the logic in the control board controller works, so in this case the electronics may make a mistake when determining the water level in the tank. For "regular" BOSH dishwashers this is apparently not very dangerous. In the worst case, this can result in water overflow and an emergency stop of the wash. But for expensive dishwashers with zeolite drying, overfilling the tank can end in disaster, since if the water level in the tank exceeds a certain level (a little less than 5 cm), this expensive zeolite drying unit will simply flood and, most likely, fail. In the right corner on the bottom of the tank (with dishes) in expensive dishwashers with zeolite drying there is simply an open hole down into the tank with zeolite and heating element, slightly covered with a “lid with a crossed out hand.”

Re: error E31
Good morning, I have the same problem, not even a month has passed since we bought a new dishwasher, we have a built-in dishwasher, most likely the remains of a regular detergent got into it, which led to excessive foaming, water poured out and an E31 error was displayed, it is under warranty, as far as I understand , in order to manipulate the hairdryer it is necessary to pull it out, since it is on the bottom? Tell me what to do? Did you get this error again later? There were no such problems with the old one.
Re: error E31
Turning the machine upside down helped. But not for long, after 2-3 washes the error occurred again.
Re: error E31
So, 5 successful washes in a row, usually 3-4 washes included error E31.
What was done. The ring that holds the container with zeolite was twisted crookedly (not evenly on all sides) as a result (the theory) the container did not fit tightly to the tank of the machine, as a result of which water seeped in and accumulated in the lower part, in the pan.
I adjusted the ring, now it fits evenly on all sides. I hope this was the problem.

Re: error E31
In short, everything works fine. I wish the same for everyone. I no longer had error E31.
Re: error E31
It helped when we put the machine on its right side, water poured out, started the cycle, then put it on its side, there was no water. We will monitor how long it lasts.

Hello!
New car (3 months), it showed error 31.. and the faucet went into deep defense, it didn’t even turn off (I pulled it out of the socket for 5 minutes, the pump immediately turned on and you could hear it.
nMost likely there was a lot of foam, because at the bottom I found a thin board that lay on the bottom and merged with it (I picked it up - everything was covered in dense pink foam)
I washed the filter, but I can’t understand where this miracle cover with the crossed out line is hand
Please tell me!!!

Re: error E31
Hello. Bought a new car Bosch smv6ecx51e. I washed it one cycle. Error E31-00 came out. As a result, I dismantled the side walls. There is water on the tray. Wipe with napkins. I put it to work. Water began to flow from the connection on the plastic tank on the left. I removed the plastic tank. I pressed both gaskets with cones. I installed the tank in place. Ran the cycle. I assembled the sides. Works good. Cleans super. My disrespect to the car assemblers. Thank you.
