The display says E24 in red letters. There is a lot of water inside that does not go away.

It’s impossible to drain the water! Blockage. I had this happen, I used a cable to clean the pipe into which the water from the dishwasher drains, and also cleaned the filter on the machine itself, which unscrews in the center. There were some stuck bones there. I don’t know what helped, but after that the error disappeared and everything became normal.

Today I treated the E24 error in Siemens with the same method. I washed the filter and used a brake cable from the bicycle to clean the drainage device.

Friends! I had this problem a couple of times. E 24, and a full puddle of water inside. The error indicates a drainage problem.

In the first case, I pumped out the water with a rag, removed the filter at the bottom of the machine inside the chamber, under it there is a plastic plug that is removed, and we get access to the pump. This is a plastic gear. A lemon seed got in there. After removal, everything worked.

The second time these manipulations did not help, the pump turned out to be free. It was useful to look for the junction of the drain hose of the car with the sewer. I took off the hose, and there was all sorts of stuff there. Cleaned it. A metal cable or any available means are well suited for these needs.

To check the functionality of the drain: Remove the drain hose from the sewer pipe and lower it into an empty bucket. We turn on the machine in any washing mode. In good condition, the puddle from the machine will flow through the hose into the bucket, and the problem will disappear. If it doesn’t leak, we’ll look further for the blockage.

I encountered the same problem. First I decided to clean the system with pipe cleaner. Did not help. I blew out the drain hose (I used a Zelmer vacuum cleaner - THIS IS A SONG!!!). Did not help. It turned out, like the previous friend (post dated 11/16/15), a lemon PIT. I removed it - and EVERYTHING WORKS!!!

If cleaning the filters helped, then the problem seemed to be on the surface, but fatty deposits inside the dishwasher still remain not only on the filters, so it is recommended to periodically use high-temperature modes; sometimes the problem is due to scale (when the PMM has been working for quite a long time). The drain pump is blocked by a foreign object. (Maybe a lemon seed, but more often I take out glass from broken wine glasses). From FD9101 to FD9108;
For younger models, i.e. Since 2012, you need to look for the cause in a broken hose or clogged sewer, because... Since 2012, the error code for a blocked pump is E25.
