I can’t figure out how to adjust the water hardness. According to the table from the manual, the water hardness setting data is given only in German degrees (’DH) and in mmol/l, and in accordance with these values, the softening level on the regulator is set (from H1 to H6). Our values in (G) are not there. I used a calculator of these values, it turned out that with our water hardness of 5F this is 14’DH, according to the table we set the regulator to 3. If I do everything correctly, then there are no questions.
But I use 3 in 1 tablets. And here The question arises: is it necessary to use salt at all in this case? First I set the softener control to 1 (this is the extreme value) since I use tablets. But after watching a video on YouTube, where a specialist recommends that when using tablets, set the softener regulator to the initial position at 0 or 1 (depending on the model), if the water hardness is from 1 to 4. If the water hardness is 5, then you need to add salt and water to the tablets set the regulator to 2, if the hardness is 6, to 3, etc.
What is the right thing to do?

Watch fewer videos, and don’t worry about it, who needs recommendations from blogger babbles anyway? Everything is written in the passport!
