Hi all. Machine Zanussi ZDS-200, more than 10 years old.

On the third day the exhaust pump began to malfunction, I, on the advice of the specialists, did not wait, but immediately bought a new one and replaced it. When I changed it, I put the machine on its back.

After this, the following syndrome appeared: it takes in water, but when it’s supposed to turn on the circulation and start actually washing, it freezes. At first, this happened only before the last phase - i.e. by the end of the first hour of the program. It helped to briefly press Start, and the machine, waking up, began to turn.

Today this turned out to be not enough. I press Start and it will spin a couple of times and freeze again. Restarting the program after that did not help - pressing the button was enough either for a second of work, or it did not react at all.

This was the case in the morning. I then started the program from scratch again to drain the accumulated water, and turned it off. Now, four hours later, I tried to restart the program again - it started working normally.

What was it and how to treat it? It seems that during operation some sensor somewhere gets clogged; and after four hours of inactivity it dried out.
