 Question about installing PMM

Post by bam »

Good afternoon, I encountered a problem when installing the bosh PMM myself. If you raise the PMM to the top level of the countertop, as stated in the instructions, then the top edge of the PMM door is 2-3 mm higher than the level of the facades, it turns out that if you hang the facade in this way, it will be just below the PMM door and a gap will form between the facade and the door . If you hang it at the level of the door, the facade will be 2-3 mm higher than the rest. There is an idea to glue fiberboard under the tabletop in order to lower the installation height, but the PMM has an upper fastening with metal corners, which will also go down to the thickness of the fiberboard. And there will be a gap between the tabletop and the corner. Another option is to use fiberboard and buy additional bushings and bolts for side fastening, there are holes, but there are plastic plugs on the inside - I think they can be removed. What do you advise?
