 The circulation pump is leaking(?)

Post by Sandroe »

Good afternoon. Error i30, water in the sump. During operation, it leaks from the circulation pump. Could this be possible? What exactly might be leaking? Visually from the hole between the green and white parts.
Can it be cured with something or should I only buy it assembled?

I am repairing the pump, you don’t need to buy it assembled, there’s a gasket under the volute and an oil seal (it’s probably leaking), everything can be bought separately!

Can you tell me where this can be done? I asked a couple of stores and they said that they were only assembled.

I’ll tell you a little later, right now I’m just at work, the main thing is to find the oil seal, it’s spring-loaded and universal

First, you need to disassemble the pump ( unscrews counterclockwise) remove your oil seal, it is ceramic and select according to it.... It may also be that everything is fine with it, you just need to tighten it... Here is a video found

Can you tell me where I can do this? I asked a couple of stores and they said that they were only assembled.

Finally got around to it. Everything is as in the video: all gaskets are intact. I washed it and screwed it back on. Not leaking yet. Thanks for the help!

I didn’t remove the tachometer, so I unscrewed the impeller.

The pump no longer leaks. However, by the middle of the wash, water still flowed into the tray (but not too much, the sensor did not work). I felt the pipes, looked with a flashlight to see where the leak was coming from, and saw nothing.
The machine washed the dishes completely, no water was added to the tray.

The tray should ideally be completely dry, Or is something still leaking there due to default?

Water should not get into the pan, something is wrong somewhere, water can get through the overflow valve, through the sump gasket, through the front cover if the installation angle is not correct, or there is a high water level in the dishwasher....

Maybe when I put it on its side, water got in somewhere and then flowed out? The second time we started the machine, there seemed to be no more water...

Less than a year later, the i30 is back. I didn’t take it apart right away - the pallet was already dry. The float is stuck. I turned on the quick wash - not a drop. I turned on the slow wash - the same thing. I started the car wash without tablets.

What could it be?

Tell me how to disconnect the green part (snail). There seem to be latches on the white part, I’m afraid I’ll break them.

The snail can be repaired; it leaks from under the gasket

They also wrote above what to do. I just did it from the video. Disassemble and tighten. Be careful with the latches so as not to break them.

Good afternoon It is also not clear how to detach the green part (snail). There seem to be latches on the white part, I’m afraid I’ll break them.
