Greetings. PPM has been in operation for more than 10 years. Lately, problems have emerged: it doesn’t wash dishes well, stale powder remains in the dispenser, sometimes it washes with cold water. If it sits for several days, it washes normally the first time, but not well the second and subsequent times. There are no accidents, different washing cycles are completed correctly. There is no water in the pan; everything is dry. For several reasons, I decided to repair it myself. I disassembled the PPM, checked the heating element (live), visually clean without scale (looked through the hole adjacent to the pump), the circulation pump seemed to be alive (R between the windings is the same - 75 Ohms). Having removed and disassembled the pump, I found a bunch of grease and dirt inside, plastic production inside.
Should there be water in the engine? or do the graphite bearings need to be replaced? Or is there another way to solve the issue of tightness?
After cleaning, is it worth reassembling and checking the operation?
Maybe something else needs to be checked?
