I replaced the drain pump in the PMM (the volute broke). In the process, I removed the fastener with two tubes at the base of the cochlea. The tubes didn’t seem to be inserted anywhere. Whirlpool 450. Stopped draining water. Removed the drain pump. I discovered this there. It prevented the blades from spinning. Who knows what this is? Is this part of the PMM?
