Dear dishwasher owners! We are trying to collect here as much useful information as possible about dishwashers, so if you have something to say, say it. :-) (even without registration)
Good afternoon.
Experience in repairing dishwashers - 0.
I replaced the drain pump in the PMM (the volute broke). In the process, I removed the fastener with two tubes at the base of the cochlea. The tubes didn’t seem to be inserted anywhere. Perhaps it was installed incorrectly. To be honest, I can’t even understand their purpose. In the photo, the fasteners with tubes are detached for visibility. The problem is that during operation they leak into the sump, the PMM, of course, turns off and switches to emergency mode.
1) purpose of the tubes?
2) how to secure? Or is it not a matter of fasteners?

My wife found a plastic part after washing dishes. Apparently she vomited from somewhere. But where from??? We just can’t figure it out... if anyone has met, tell me where to shove it))). Dishwasher Siemens SN678X51TR.
Whirlpool 450. Stopped draining water. Removed the drain pump. I discovered this there. It prevented the blades from spinning. Who knows what this is? Is this part of the PMM?
