Why do you need a rinse aid?

I read one discussion here, it turns out everyone uses mouthwash.

I’m just pouring powder. Bosch machine.
The usual condition is the burning lamps for lack of salt and rinse aid. Sometimes I add salt. Rinse aid - never.

Because I don’t understand why it is needed? And everything washes well. Do you add rinse aid?

Anton, try washing with conditioner and you will notice the difference.

but it only gives off a smell and nothing else
I don’t like the smell of perfume on my dishes, so I pour regular water in there.
and the light doesn’t light up, and the dishes are rinsed.

I read that rinse aid is needed to wash away detergent, and with it, water drains better from the dishes, as a result, they dry better and look cleaner and shiny.

I found the composition of the rinse aid to be almost the same as that of the main detergent. looks like nonsense. I would try pouring water with citric acid instead of rinse aid.

I stopped using mouthwash. I think that the dishes are covered with a thin film and that’s why they shine, why do we need extra chemicals for the body, just for beauty? This is simply luring money out of the buyer, and everything is laundered just fine.

One fill of rinse aid lasts me about two weeks. I wash dishes twice a day. Bosch machine.

If you rarely wash glassware, you can skip the rinse. I use quite a bit only when I put out glasses and bowls.
